TO PARTICIPATE IN DELIVERING THE RIGHT PRODUCTS AND PROGRAMS TO OUR MEMBERS AT THE RIGHT TIME

  • Continue outreaching to young and aspiring entrepreneurs, professionals and students
  • Institute an innovative Emerging Entrepreneur Mentorship Program
  • Continue to promote conservation, green and health products
  • Continue recognizing the achievements of our community’s entrepreneurs and students

 

ADVISORY BOARD MEMBERS CONTRIBUTION AND BENEFITS

FIL-AM ENTREPRENEURS: Chosen from different types of businesses. Numbers of members will be expanded on a continuing basis.

CONTRIBUTIONS SOUGHT FROM AB MEMBERS:

  • Provide advice based on personal experience and cultural background on what educational material and information are needed by entrepreneurs to survive and get to the next level
  • Continually revisit and advise on what FACCOC should focus on based on the needs of the business environment and the community

BENEFITS TO THE AB MEMBERS:

  • Tap on the experience and get input and/or help from fellow board members on new or recurring issues that is encountered in the business operation
  • Project a positive image about the company or business that you represent to the FACCOC membership and the community
  • Provide a business opportunity for the company through exposure and name recognition to the membership and attendees of FACCOC events
  • Acquire a means for getting input on new products and services from the membership

CORPORATE REPRESENTATIVES: Chosen from corporations that support FACCOC goals and events.

CONTRIBUTIONS SOUGHT FROM AB MEMBERS:

  • Financial assistance by way of sponsorship to enable the provision of FACCOC programs to the small business community
  • Provide input on the kind of programs sensitive to the need of the community that are deliverables for non-profit business organizations
  • Provide information on the types of businesses that can do business with the corporation and how one can be successful in bidding for the contract

BENEFIT TO THE AB MEMBERS:

  • Acquire a marketing channel to the community on the sponsor’s programs and services
  • Provide a business opportunity for the company through exposure and name recognition to the membership and attendees of FACCOC events
  • Acquire a means for getting input on future and new products and services from the membership
  • For some sponsors, meet the requirements of the Community Relations Act

ADVOCATES: Chosen from companies or non-profit organizations that are in the business of assisting businesses

CONTRIBUTIONS SOUGHT FROM AB MEMBERS:

  • Provide the educational resources and information needed by matured and young entrepreneurs
  • Assist FACCOC in establishing or updating its business plan to keep the association focused on its deliverables
  • Provide input on the kind of assistance (nationally and internationally) needed by the entrepreneurs based on past and current information supplied by your clients/customers

BENEFITS TO THE AB MEMBERS:

  • Acquire a good source of information and feedback that would assist in the choice of educational materials and courses to provide
  • Get information on what product and services the organization should focus or expand on based on the needs heard from the other members of the advisory board
  • Acquire a marketing channel in making your services and products known to the business community

Obtain the internal satisfaction and joy achievable only by providing a non-monetary compensated service to the community!
