Edmyr Barayang
Contemporary Street Apparel Entrepreneur

Edmyr Barayang is a motivated, passionate person who is determined to make it in the fashion and music industry. He pursued his music career as a DJ (which he is also known as DJ EROK) and a beat maker in Southern California. For the past 12 years in the music industry, he has worked and toured with many hip-hop artists such as The Mystics, The Pharcyde and Black Eyed Peas. With his success in music, he wanted to pursue what only came natural to him. With very little money and big dreams he and his friends started a clothing line in 2006 called Ek5obition. The name Ek5obition derives from the word "exhibition", the idea is to display yourselves to the fullest. As the Director of Sales and Marketing, he and his partners were determined to show the world what Ek5sobition is all about.

Ek5sobition started out pushing a few t-shirt designs inspired by the music, lifestyle and culture of a generation growing up in the 90s. From folding, bagging, and sewing tags on their own shirts to driving to stores and passing out stickers on the streets, the hard work paid off as they were able to land in a few recognizable stores and were featured on Hype-Beast.com and Sole Collector magazine. This drive has continued as Ek5obition finally showed its first complete line at a trade show in the summer of 2007. Now in over 40 stores worldwide, he continues to pursue his dream of making Ek5obition a household name.
