Chase Valencia is a paralegal at the law offices of Nordstrom, Steele, Nicolette, and Blythe. In 2007, he graduated from California State University at Fullerton with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and a Minor in Political Science. While at CSUF, he was actively involved on campus as a Marketing Committee Advisor for the 1st Annual (2005) and 2nd Annual (2006) CSUF Social Justice Summit; Secretary for the Left Bank (political-community organization) Fall 2005; Treasurer for the Students for a Democratic Society (political-community organization) Spring 2006 and Fall 2007; member of the Golden Key Honor Society; participated in the Immigration May Day Rally 2005 in Santa Ana, California and the U.S. Out of Iraq Rally 2006 in Los Angeles, California; January 2007 traveled to Bicol, Philippines with the Francis Pauda Papica Foundation and volunteered during the relief effort for the Typhoon Durian aftermath by distributing rations/goods collected from the United States to various parts of the province.
He is one of the founding fathers and current President of Kabalikat Society, a grassroots community-building organization in Chino Hills, California that emphasizes its efforts on establishing an active and dynamic social network for young Filipino-Americans. Their mission is to cultivate an awareness and appreciation for the Philippine heritage by staging various functions, events, as well as addressing local, state, national, and global issues affecting our community. In July 2009, Chase and Kabalikat organized the Philippine Independence Day Festival which attracted over 3,000 attendees and was the first of its kind in the Chino Hills area.
